About
Hello, I’m Pat.
I design how digital product organisations work, and how regulation lives inside them. Based in London, I work in English, Italian and Hungarian.

Why I do this
The regulation keeps changing. The problem does not.
Compliance specialists know what regulation requires. Operations leaders know how product organisations actually run. I work in the gap between them, turning regulatory obligation into the workflows, controls and evidence that teams can run without stalling delivery.
I started with accessibility, contributing to UWEM, Europe’s harmonised methodology for accessibility evaluation, and to EIAO, an observatory built to make compliance measurable across member states. Then data protection, through doctoral research at the LSE. Then a decade at Intuit, Babylon Health and TrueLayer, embedding GDPR, PIPEDA, HIPAA and CCPA into the operating model. Then the European Accessibility Act at 8×8. Now the AI Act.
A systems thinker trained as a sociolinguist, I always return to one question: why legal, engineering and product teams read the same rule differently, and what it takes for them to act on it together?
